I had a pretty enjoyable stay at Hotel La Villa Nice Victor Hugo. The room was spacious, offering a nice view, and the location was superb for exploring the city. However, the wifi was quite poor; I struggled to stay connected when I needed it most. Overall, it was a solid value for a boutique experience in Nice.

Rooms

My room was spacious and cozy, with a lovely view of the city though it did face a busy street, leading to occasional noise. I really appreciated the overall cleanliness and comfort of the bed, but the pillows were a bit too firm for my liking.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I particularly want to thank Agnes, who went above and beyond to assist us during some travel complications caused by the Air France strike. It was nice to have a team that spoke English fluently too!
Location

The hotel's location couldn't be better; I was just a short walk from key attractions, the beach, and the tram station. This made getting around the city super easy, which I loved!
Dining

I found the breakfast to be a great deal, with a nice selection of fresh pastries and other tasty offerings. For only 12 euros, it was excellent value and a good way to start the day.
Facilities
6.0
While the hotel offered some nice amenities, the lack of in-room wifi was a major downside for me. I had to work from the lobby, which was less than ideal. Plus, the designated smoking area near the entrance was a bit bothersome.

I had a really lovely stay, with the hotel being perfectly situated just a short walk from both the beach and the shopping area. The decor was charming and created a cozy atmosphere, which I appreciated. However, the internet connection was quite spotty during my visit and that was a bit frustrating, especially in the evenings when I needed to catch up on emails.

Rooms

The room was comfortable and I enjoyed having my own balcony to take in the fresh air. However, I did notice that the cleaning service wasn't very consistent, as I found some hair on the floor during my stay.

The reception team was friendly and really helpful, going out of their way to assist me when I had an issue with the TV, which they resolved while I was out exploring.
Location

The location was fantastic! I was just minutes from the famous promenade and numerous restaurants, making it easy to explore Nice on foot.
Dining

Breakfast was a mixed experience. While the selection was decent, I wish I had opted for it in advance, as I struggled to find good cafe options nearby.
Facilities

I found the hotel charming with its stylish decor, but the lift was very small, which didn't bother me too much since I often used the stairs instead.

I had a great three-night stay at Hotel La Villa Nice Victor Hugo. The location couldn't have been better, just a short walk from both the beach and the old town. While the rooms were charming and clean, I noticed some small issues, like the shower not fully enclosing, leading to wet floors. Overall, the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere made my time nice, despite a few minor inconveniences.

Rooms

I found the room to be very clean and well-decorated, matching what I saw online. It was a good size for a French hotel, offering comfort during my stay. However, the shower's design was lacking, causing water to spill out onto the floor.
Service

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing assistance whenever I had questions or needed local recommendations. Their attentive service really enhanced my stay.
Location

The hotel's location was superb, allowing easy access to the Promenade des Anglais and the city's heart. It was ideally situated close to restaurants and attractions, making my exploration of Nice very convenient.
Dining

Breakfast was decent with a nice variety, though some additional options each day would have been appreciated. The hot dishes and fresh fruit were enjoyable, which contributed positively to my mornings.
Facilities

The hotel featured adequate amenities, although I noticed the WiFi was rather slow. The air conditioning was effective in the heat, which was a big plus during my stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel La Villa Nice Victor Hugo, particularly due to its central location, making it easy to explore Nice. The room was clean and well-decorated, providing a comfortable atmosphere for a good night's sleep. However, I did encounter some minor issues regarding the bathroom cleanliness and slow internet during my stay, which could use improvement.

Rooms

The room was airy and decorated in a pleasing white and grey palette. I appreciated the large size, though the bathroom wasn't as clean as I'd hoped. The bed was quite comfortable, contributing to a restful experience.
Service

The staff were generally friendly and helpful, particularly with local information. However, my experience with reception was somewhat mixed, as some interactions felt a bit cold and less accommodating. They were responsive to my needs when I asked for assistance.

My stay at Hotel La Villa Nice Victor Hugo was quite mixed. The location was fantastic, being close to the beach and local restaurants, though I did experience a letdown with the theft incident during my visit. The room was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated, but I left feeling disappointed overall.

My room was spacious, modern, and equipped with all necessary amenities. I enjoyed the comfortable bed and the air conditioning worked well. However, I noted some areas could use painting and maintenance.

The location was truly a highlight. It was just a short walk to the beach and local attractions, with quick access to tram lines for airport travel. I felt safe walking around the area.
Dining

I skipped the breakfast at €12 per person, finding it more economical to grab something nearby. However, many guests seemed to enjoy the variety offered in the breakfast room.

The hotel had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, which I liked. I also appreciated the strong Wi-Fi connection and the availability of towels for the beach.
